I pumped a few hundred hours into MLB The Show 18, and most of it, honestly, was probably spent on the Community Marketboard. MLB The Show 19 March to October is a fast paced mode that is all about getting your team to the postseason and beyond.

MLB the Show 18 provided multiple paths for players to get the players they coveted in its Diamond Dynasty mode. You could use the exchange to give up four gold jerseys for three. This makes focusing in on a crop of young players difficult to do. But since the MLB rosters are fixed and standardized across all Franchise Mode saves we can look at the young players there to see who you should be targeting in trades. It has some amazing moments as Babe Ruth or Ken Griffey. There are some downsides to the system, though, as it doesn't add new moments from recent seasons or even new seasons. The March to October mode does exactly what it says, it marches you to October! MLB The Show 19 March to October allows you to jump to the playoffs in half the time. A screen in the trailer shows the 30 MLB clubs split into four tiers (favorites, contenders, underdogs,and longshots), with players having to choose a specific team on the subsequent screens.
